Description
As an avid Beatles fan, I have collected many items over the past years. I am not a dealer or a store. The items I have decided to sell are from my own collection. Most of my items, I have bought new. Very rarely did I purchase used, If I have, I will state it in my descriptions.
For this auction, I am selling the Beatles 12 inch vinyl record "WHAT A SHAME MARY JANE HAD A PAIN AT THE PARTY". The record is an import from Denmark and is on Parlophone records. The song was written by Lennon and McCartney, produced by George Martin and is dated 1967, As you can see from the photos, the song is on both A & B sides. Side A is the short version with the time listed as 6:35. Side B is listed as 7:04. It has the black Parlophone lable. The vinyl record is in excellent condition. I bought this new and played both sides once. There are no spindle marks around the small hole of the record. The cover is in excellent condition. No writing, tears, bends, split seams, tape, stains, or odor. There are very very light ring marks, that are hardly noticable, The front cover has a sticker "The Beatles" which is placed over top of writing. I never took the sticker off, but I think underneath is the words: The Cockroaches Rated XXX." The picture on the front of the cardboard sleeve has nude women with the Beatles in the middle, with the crew cut hair. The back is also the nude women and one large photo nude in the middle.
There is a disclaimer on the back that reads about the "ticks and pops" are in the pressing used for the mastering process.
This item was never stored in a garage, basement or attic. And I have always kept in a plastic sleeve. Over all, this item is in great shape and you will be please with its condition.
