PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In 1970, European psychedelic band Brainticket, out of Basel, Switzerland, was about to release their first album, featuring Werner Frohlich on bass and Cosimo Lampis on drums. They departed the group and formed Toad, with Vittorio 'Vic' Vergeat who was briefly in the space rock band Hawkwind, on guitar, but not just any guitar. Vic was the greatest unknown guitar hero next to Jimi Hendrix. The group began writing and recording material for their first album in 1970.
Toad were not commercially successful outside of their own country, they were a popular live act because of their intensity, musicianship and stage antics. Most notably when lead guitarist Vic Vergeat played the guitar with his teeth. Their concerts were often compared to those of Jimi Hendrix.
The "Fan Man" adds:
Toad's second album is just about as good as it's predecessor. Their first LP was a bit more of a heavy psychedelic blues sound. Tomorrow Blue is a more sophisticated and layered progressive blues effort. This album on the other hand is more progressive. All the tracks are impressive with sensational webs of Hendrixy guitar theatrics, burning fingers flying off the fret-board. The highlight standout is the 12 minutes long "Change in Time" - which is just fantastic.
Overall Tomorrow Blue's progressive flourishes are a step forward from the wicked blues psych first LP. "Tomorrw Blue" features truly wondrous songs, including the fan favorite "Vampires" which is full of searing, crashing guitars, built around a wonderfully complex bassline and some of the greatest, and most unintelligible vocals ever. It's also fantastic, and so is Tomorrow Blue...

CONDITION: The cover: rated: VG only for the lamination peeling which is prevalent with nearly all laminated German early 70s covers - also a couple tape pull tears. If not for those issues the GATEFOLD cover is very sound & solid not having the usual bends and handling crinkles. There are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... VERY collection worthy ...
The vinyl: Rated: CLEAN VG++ has no more than a couple very minor scuffs that does not affect the excellent audio throughout. Both Hallelujah labels are clean but have a "12" in ink.
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
