My Sunday bonus item this week is a BRAND NEW STILL SEALED 1979 U.S. PRIVATE PRESS LP  issued in 1979 by the Memphis TN Development Foundation titled 'Beale Street Saturday Night', featuring fourteen tracks of music and narration from veteran and contemporary Memphis blues artists, compiled and produced by Memphis blues pianist, compiler, and producer James Luther (Jim) Dickinson.  It is Memphis Development Corporation Records catalog number 0-101, and is the same LP recently sold in completed eBay auction number 330404213409, in the same still sealed conditon.  Jim Dickinson performs on this LP with his band Mud Boy & The Neutrons.  Artists and tracks heard are: Walkin' Down Beale Street-Sid Selvidge,  Hernando Horn-Fred Ford, Beale Street Blues-Grandma Dixie Davis, Big Fat Mama / Liquor Store-Sleepy John Estes, Ol' Beale Street Blues-Prince Gabe, Furry's Blues-Furry Lewis, Rock Me Baby-Teenie Hodges, Rock Me Baby-Alex, 'Ben Griffin Was In The Monarch...'-Thomas Pinkston, Frisco Blow-Johnny Woods,  On The Road Again-Mud Boy & The Neutrons, 'Mr. Handy Told Me 50 Years Ago...'-Thomas Pinkston, Chicken Ain't Nothin' But A Bird-Furry Lewis, Roll On Mississippi-Grandma Dixie Davis.  As stated above, this LP is STILL SEALED in its original factory shrinkwrap - Record is in 100% pristine condition. Album lies perfectly flat on both sides with no indication of any bends or warps.  There is a very tiny bit of ring wear on the back cover, and cover has one or two very small tears in the shrinkwrap with a tiny bit of wear in those spots, cover has no other visible flaws.
