TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of those early, extremely rare and highly collectible LP`s by one of the best groups ever, The Beach Boys. It is yet another album in outstanding, condition - both the vinyl and the jacket - and even comes with an original Capitol Record's inner sleeve (also pictured above). This album - just their 3rd ever - is on the original rainbow bordered, Capitol Label and is entitled "Surfer Girl", after their huge hit single of the same title from 1963. The LP includes 12 great songs - including the hit title song plus, "Little Deuce Coupe", "In My Room" and 9 others - from back when 14 year old, David Marks was still an original member and with in the group - all in MONO and all in outstanding shape (see the pictures above for the song titles and much more). LABEL INFO: This original, Capitol Records Label (T-1981) is nearly perfect with no issues at all - I don't see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in need of a mention. In my opinion, the vinyl seriously looks as good as the day it was 1st purchased, and so good that it has possibly never been played. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also nearly perfect, with just one easily correctible flaw. There is a previous owner's name on two sticker tags - one on each side of the jacket in the very top corners - but they are both very small and could be easily removed with "Goo-Gone" or some other similar product (again, see pics above). Other than this though, it appears to be just about as good as new!! In all honesty, this entire package looks so good that I'm not sure it was ever played very much - every part looks so clean, neat and close to perfect - except for the slight flaw I listed with this jacket!! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this highly collectible LP is in the nicest of shapes, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape.
