NOTE ON THIS RELEASE: This is a very rare, limited collectors' edition release. It was only sold through the mail in 1983 & '84 to members of The Beach Boys fan club. It features demos, home studio recordings and early rehearsals of songs they were working on. Many of these songs would go on (in later versions) to be released on "15 Big Ones", "M.I.U." & "Ten Years of Harmony". As the liner notes state, some of these recordings are not of great quality, but vital to collectors of the band's music. The Beach Boys released three of these private press collectors' series albums through Making Waves; "Adult Child (Collectors Series #2)" & "California Feeling (Collectors Series #4)" being the other two. Collectors Series #3 was a Christmas album by Mike Love & Al Jardine under the pseudonym "The California Legends".
