BEACH BOYS Surf's Up 2009 Test Pressing 180-Gram 12" Vinyl LP + Re-cut B-Side
Beach Boys - Surf's Up (Capitol)
2009 test pressing of 180-gram reissue LP issued by Brother Records/Capitol as part of Capitol's "From The Vaults" series.
This test pressing was made by Rainbo Records, and has a blank labels on both sides. Each label has a homemade Dymo label affixed to it with info printed. The date of production for this test pressing was March 24th, 2009 as indicated by the handwriting on the label from someone involved in the project.
Also included here is a re-cut of the second side of the disc. It is unknown why the 'B' side had to be re-cut, and the one-sided disc has identical matrix etchings, nevertheless it is included here so the buyer has the complete test pressing set as it was eventually released on a single LP.
A unique Beach Boys collectible, that demonstrates the rigorous evaluation process test pressings receive before a record can be mass produced.

We grade conservatively, accurately and honestly. S/S, M, M- (NM), VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, WBR (Poor). We do not use EX (many dealers' EX would be our VG).
