Surfin' USA. Cover and Record are brilliant Near Mint, Cover is still in original shrink, Original innersleeve.
It's '63, pre-Beatles, and the Beach Boys surfsound was a driving force. How good were they? This title track is a direct rip of Chuck Berry's Sweet Little Sixteen, but the 'Boys' song became an American standard. And the other hit on the album (Shut Down) further established their surpemacy in the hot rod genre.
This is one sweet LP, and if I was still collecting, this would not be up for auction. Shrink, Stereo, Innersleeve....unless you can find a sealed copy, this is a true final upgrade.
