You are viewing the auction for a very rare IMPORTED BRITISH UK 7 LP box set by the Beach Boys titled "The Capitol Years" (WORLD RECORDS/ EMI SM651 to SMF657) (1980) (Stereo / Mono). It features 6 LP's by the Beach Boys, and a bonus album of rare recordings by other artists that were produced by Brian Wilson. The Beach Boys albums are called "Summertime USA", "California Dream", "Sunshine Music", "Changes", "Timeless", and "Breakaway". They feature songs from 1962-1969 in a more, or less chronological order. The bonus album is titled "The Brian Wilson Productions". It features 8 rare songs by the all female surf group "The Honeys" --- (Shoot The Curl, Surfin' Down The Swanee River, Pray For Surf, Hide Go Seek, The One You Can't Have, From Jimmy With Tears, Tonight You Belong To Me, and Goodnight My Love)---- 4 by Sharon Marie --- (Runaround Lover, Summertime, Thinkin' 'Bout You Baby, and Story Of My Life), --- 2 by The Survivors --- (Pamela Jean, and After The Game), --- 2 by Gary Usher --- (Sacramento, and That's Just The Way I Feel), --- and 1 by Glen Campbell --- (Guess I'm Dumb). All very rare recordings, again from 1962-69. They feature both stereo, and mono recordings and have the orange WORLD RECORDS label. ******** All of the records are pressed on audiophile grade vinyl, and are pristine with no marks or scratches. They do not show any signs of play, with no spindle marks on the labels. The individual jackets are also beautiful with only a crease on the Brian Wilson album. The box shows some shelf wear along the sides, corners and bottom. It has a small spot in the upper right where a sticker had been. The track list is attached to the underside of the lid. The custom white inner sleeves are all pretty nice and the all are stamped with "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" AND PATENT NUMBERS ON THEM. The set also includes the original 12 page insert booklet. Everything included is shown in the photo.
