BBC Transcription Disc recorded in 1972 Barclay James Harvest Live with Symphony Orchestra CN1706/S
Legendary programme from the In Concert series transmitted in 1972. Barclay James Harvest performing for just under an hour with the Barclay James Harvest Symphony Orchestra conducted by Martyn Ford.
Although the original broadcast was in mono this stereo disc was syndicated to radio stations in 1973. The tracks are: Mocking Bird; Medicine Man; Moonwater; Summer Soldier; The Poet; After The Day; Galadriel; Dark Now My Sky
It comes in a heavy polythene lined sleeve as issued. The disc has only been played a handful of times and is in very nice condition. There is a surface mark on the vinyl on Side 2 but it does not affect play. Side 1 looks perfect. There is no cue sheet. The sleeve has the word Harvest handwritten neatly on one side. The labels are clean and just have a couple of spindle marks on each side. The licence expiry date on the labels has been corrected by hand to 1974.
