B.B. Collins - S/T - Brobisco Records - Deep Ghanaian Highlife / Funky Highlife - Listen! - No Reserve

Beautiful Ghanaian highlife record released on Brobisco and produced by Leo Mensah. This LP was issued without a sleeve - my personal copy was purchased sealed years ago and this copy was also purchased sealed in a white disco sleeve and opened to check for warps, etc. The tune “Anoma Antu A” stands out among my favorite deep Ghanaian highlife tunes along with work by K. Gyasi and the Noble Kings - the music speaks for itself… I’ve also added a soundclip of the tune “Adjoa Abene”. No date listed but I would guess late 70’s. Listen to the soundclips and no reserve.
