BARTOK Centenary Edition At The Piano Record Archive Talk/Play Vol 1&2 1912-1945

Complete 13LP set directly from the estate of Peter Bartok, son of composer Bela Bartok. Peter still had connection to the Hungaroton label for many years after his father's passing in 1945. This was perhaps given to him as a gift by the label or he could've picked it up for his personal collection while visiting. While going through his records, we found several trips from the 60s and into the late 80s.
Volume 1: (8LP set)
Cover is VG++ only because the top and bottom right corners have minor damage and beginning to cause a split of the fabric wrap. It still holds strong, but be careful with it to not cause further splitting. These covers are very strong to begin with, so I don't see it being a major concern. Vinyls are all EX to NM, leaning towards the NM grade. They are in superb condition with only small paper and dust flecks loosely resting on the surface. I inspected around half of the LPs and found no marks of note. No paper scuffs, hairlines, etc.
Volume 2: (5LP set)
Still a VG++ cover, but a little better than Vol 1. This box only has the bottom right corner with a small split forming to the fabric at the joint. Small sticker affixed to lower left corner from Peter's collection numbering system. Vinyls are similar to Vol1. Ex to NM.
