BARRY MANILOW I is a recording from the Victor Company of Japan for state of the art audiophile pressings. This MFSL LP was pressed in Japan before Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs eventually pressed their LPs in the United States. The LP was Half-Speed Mastered with the Ortofon Cutting System from the Original Stereo Master Tapes. This MFSL LP has a special static free, dust free inner sleeve and heavy-duty protective packaging. This LP has been Out of Print for 25 years and a bonafide audiophiles collectible.

If you collect Manilow recordings, this was the first. It has the /Sing It/ recording of Barry as a child with his grandpa outside a recording studio. The Barry before anyone knew who Barry was. The album dates back to 1972 and shows how far Barry Manilow has matured over 30 year career. If you're a fan and you have everything else Manilow, this is worth having as well.
