Obscure and currently hot '80s UK item. It's all about the alternative version of sideB ;) The 7inch issue of "Lipstick" appears to be the most desirable mix compared to the 12" release. Crossover reggae, beautifully structured rhythms and vocals with a hybrid modern soul cum subtle electronic dance sound via analogue synths and twitchy drum machine riddim. Great for DJs! Disc cut loud with big production sound. SideA is much more bubblegum pop but "Lipstick" captures a moment in time when the tail end of the London rare groove scene collided with early house music. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
RECORD - shiny, strong VG++ (actually better) with some faint hairlines and light scuffs from storage / disc cut loud with big production sound / some natural light background noises to fading outro
SLEEVE - original laminated picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (actually better) with light wear (just some ring wear creasing from storage) / item from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan, hence the archive number to front sleeve
LABEL - minimal wear, if any

Mp3 created via a Vestax portable with protective slipmat and basic Audacity software but records always sound much better on a proper hi-fi system ;)
