All covers, labels and inners have no rips, loosening of glue, handwriting in ink or biro pen.

All records listed are in no less than EX condition (see above for actual grading). In some cases I may list a very rare record at a lesser grading but this will be described in detail. Brief description of item

Barbara Lea, and "Lea In Love" RARE 1957 recording, released on the Esquire label, England. Microgroove heavyweight vinyl in PRISTINE condition, absolutely RARE & absolutely MINT vinyl. Record is unscratched, has no ingrained dust, and is 100% flat on any surface/turntable, no warping or bend. Unbelievably clean record & surface, static actually still clinging to the record & inner sleeve. Inner sleeve, with poly lined inner still firmly attached, still clings to the record! you would never find better. I wish there was an option here, to state NEARLY NEW, instead of used, because this was probably never even played by the looks of things & sound of things also of course. So listed as used, because it's from 1957 & not a NEW modern day product. Anyway....

I gave this a careful test play & the dynamics are all there, without any background noise or pop/ticks/crackle etc. So quiet even between the changes of the grooves, you forget it's playing.  Please note : anything you think in my photographs, that might be surface marks, or storage marks, are merely a reflection from taking these photos & NOT anything else.

labels are both in tip-top shape, without any issues. Not even any spindle wear, certainly no wear or tearing. Perfect shape. LONG PLAYING 33/3 RPM MICROGROOVE, Esquire, with Made in England, recordings first published in 1957. Both matrix run off are PRLP 7100 A & matching B stamped. Not a reproduction copy or new reissue. no handwritten names or stains. 

Cover is in really nice shape also, very fragile in it's design & would be prone to ripping easily. All flip back tabs are intact, there are also no names written or damp/dirt or dust to this fine cover. Lovely artwork on front. Cover design is by artist : Harry Peck. Clarifoil laminated cover, some small parts of lift to the opening side loader, a little bubbling to the top left hand side & some small lift here of the foil also. Intact spine at the side, with no splitting or record push through, only some small signs of squeeze to the spine, but absolutely zero strain points. EX cover here also. Someone out there is going to be a very happy person.

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside its cover and inside a brand new polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape. Items are labelled "handle with care".

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
