Description
Offered is a rare original 1970s 2-sided soul funk 45 featuring Barbara King on the obscure Miami, Florida ("Little River") "Alwa" label (#2878). "What I Did In The Street" (Part 1 & 2). I discovered this in a "Little River" (predominately afro-american) thrift store that I periodically frequent. This thrift has been lucky to me in the past--unearthing some real rarities like "The Twans" on Dade, several soul rarities on Saadia & a James Brown's rare early test pressing--to name a few. This one is probably just as rare. In a shiny VG+ condition with some light marks & plays great. (Please note that the "A" in the large "Alwa" label looks frayed, but that's the label design. The label & logo are fine). Almost Impossible to find--especially in VG+ condition! Winning US bidder to pay $5 for Priority delivery. I prefer PayPal.

Unless I'm made a substantial offer that's hard to refuse (and I have a general idea of what this 45 is worth) I won't end the auction early Also, I've been asked if I have an MP3 file or could they call me to listen to this 45. I don't have a file & I would prefer they not call. I've been told that this rare 45 was reissued on a "Sister Funk" compilation & if someone is interested in a sample listening, you could probably hear a sample from one of the websites that feature this "Sister Funk" compilation.
