Ah, the day I never thought would arrive finally came.  It's time to pass on the Bane collection.  After collecting records, shirts, and posters for the past 12 years from this Boston band, circumstances have made it impossible to hang on to these.  So it's with a heavy heart that I'm putting these out to the world.  Hopefully they will find a good home!  Here you get:

  • "10 Year Anniversary" (Orange/White vinyl, Equal Vision Records).  So, after they released "Give Blood," Bane didn't really release anything for several years.  They just toured all of the world, playing headlining dates, playing support dates, just really putting the positive vibe out there regardless of there was a new record on the horizon.  But then, to coincide with the band's 10 year anniversary in 1996, they released this two song morsel.  The A-side is a new song called "Reckoning Day," and the B-side is a Bjork cover.  Neither of these two songs are available on any other release, and this release was sold only at one show and limited to 450 copies.  The story goes that the records weren't even ready, so EVR sold these little CDs that you would put into your computer in order to redeem a coupon for the record.  I picked this record up second hand, and have never put the cd into my computer, so I'm not sure what's on it.  MP3's, a coupon, a crazy virus...no idea.  A must for any Bane fan.
