Original dome shaped cover
This is a original Italian pressing of a rare progressive rock album. This is their 3rd album, considered to be their best and most experimental album.
Condition:
The gimmick shaped GATEFOLD cover is EX+ condition, with all the inside pages intact, which contain lyrics to all the songs. [very minor aging wear,tiny mini well-put transparent tape on the middle edge left side ].
The Vinyl disc is in EX+ condition.[ only couple light surface hairlines marks] - Really great copy!!

Banco del Mutuo Soccorso is an Italian rock band. A popular progressive rock band in the 1970s, they continued making music in the 1980s and 1990s. They are still active, playing live in 2007 and 2008 at NEARfest.
Inspired by progressive rock acts from England, Vittorio Nocenzi and brother Gianni founded Banco del Mutuo Soccorso in Rome, Italy. They later recorded their eponymous debut in 1972, soon to be followed by Darwin!, and in 1973 Io sono nato libero.
Proving popular in Italy and becoming known abroad, the band signed with Manticore Records together with the Premiata Forneria Marconi. In 1975 Banco was released, a collection of translated songs together with new material, targeting the international market. Come in un'ultima cena was also translated as As in a Last Supper.
The 1970s also saw Banco del Mutuo Soccorso going in new directions, with a film soundtrack in 1976's Garofano rosso and recordings with an orchestra in 1978's …di terra. They changed their name to the simplified Banco.

NM (NEAR MINT) : Near perfect copy, played only a few times. At worst it may have one or two insignificant flaws. This is the highest grade I give for a non-sealed (used) record.
EX (EXCELLENT) : Clean copy, slight surface marks/hairlines, cover has minor defaults.
VG++ (VERY GOOD++) : More surface marks, minor flaws, or cover wear, minor edge wear (cover). Nothing serious but is not graded EX because of few minor defaults.
VG+ (VERY GOOD +) : Played a lot, will show signs of handling, has marks, possibly few light scratches but no jumps or sticks. Cover wear (light ring wear, heavier corner or edge wear on cover).
VG (VERY GOOD) : Used record, played a lot, has marks, few scratches, some crackling while playing and but no jumps or sticks. Still quite listenable. Cover may have heavy corner, edge wear or split seams.
G (GOOD) : Played a lot and more (but still playable), lot of scratches, crackles a lot while playing, may have jump or sticks and cover is damaged...so not so good ! This record must be very rare to be proposed in this state !!!
