Description
This is a "very hard to find" MONO UK pressing (PRLP-7109-A;PRLP-7109-B RVG in the deadwax) of "Bags' Groove" which is an album by Miles Davis. It was recorded during two sessions on 29th June & 24th December 1954 at Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, New Jersey. Both takes of the title track come from the later session, with vibraphonist Milt Jackson (Bags being his nickname). The rest of the album was recorded earlier June session. It was not released untill 1957 in the US on the Prestige Label (PRLP 7109).
This copy was released in the UK in 1959 on the Esquire Label. Very heavy thick vinyl at 200g
