Badfinger - 'Straight Up'. SAPCOR 19

Badfinger 1972 UK 1st Apple DEMO pressing of the 'Straight Up' LP. Released on the 4th February 1972, it is FULLY COMPLETE AND WITH THE ADDITION OF 5 RARE 'A IS FOR APPLE RECORDS' PROMO STICKERS. It is offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT+ condition.

These initial demo pressings would have been given out to reviewers, radio stations or given away as promotional items by Apple.

Released on the Apple label both sides state 'DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR SALE'. Each side features the very earliest 1 G matrix. This item comes fully complete with fully laminated sleeve, demo vinyl, Apple Records inner sleeve and 5 rare 'A is for Apple Records' promotional stickers. A very desirable example of this rare vinyl.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. SAPCOR 19 A-1U 1 G

Side 2. SAPCOR 19 B-1U 1 G

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Catalogue number sticker on back SAPCOR 19.

The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. I shall include an additional inner sleeve for protection.

The stickers are is in EXCELLENT condition. NEVER USED.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £19.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
