Description

DOMESTIC $ 5 PLUS $ 1 EACH INTERNATIONAL $21 PLUS $ 7 EACH  Band was formed by Dana Strum  of  Slaughter/Vinnie Vincent Invasion and Dave Carruth  of   Betsy /Bitch. The band played the  L. A. Strip in the late 70`s and considered a sure band to be signed by a major labels. In 1976 the band released a demo record with a total pressing of 100 records. The album was reissued in very limited quantity by Hexomon Records . The album is best described as mix of both hard rock and straight metal 70`s style. A kind of proto-NWOBHM band, Bad Axe formed in the U.S. in 1976, taking their moniker from their impossibly aptly named home town in L.A. The music both Zeppelin-flavoured and glam-charged rock so prevalent in that area at the time. Bad Axe is most famous for featuring Dana Strum on bass; Strum would later achieve fame with Slaughter. The other members of the group were David Carruth on guitar, Stacy Moreland on vocals, and Steve Ward on drums. David joined the band soon after moving to L.A. in 1976 and stayed with the group until 1980, when he left to join Bitch. The original album is impossible to find and goes for stupid money. With no masters to be found Hexomon  remastered   the album and greatly improved the overall sound. This is still very hard to find but well worth getting. Note the band fell apart mainly due to Strum not being able to get along with his band mates. found nobody has this for sale  discog music stack amazon ebay
