Description

Bach's St Matthew Passion is a masterwork that has to heard to be believed. A Brilliant performance soloists  Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Peter Pears, Elizabeth Schwarzkopf, Christa Ludwig, Nicolai Gedda and Walter Berry along with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus is breathtaking under the direction of Otto Klemperer. A truly beautiful performance. 
The vinyl is Near Mint, no scuffs, scratches or spindle marks across the 10 sides that I can see on careful visual inspection. The records are placed in the original Angel poly lined sleeves for their protection. 
The Jacket Box is Near Mint. No ring or shelf wear, the corners are fine, the top hinge is intact and the spine printing is clear and centered. 
The full size 28 page Libretto insert is Near Mint, clean with very little signs of use. It describes the history of Bach and the Oratorio, as well as the translation of the German text into English.
