Description
Nice 45 from the US by Baby Earl & The Trini-Dads. Condition is top EX+, heavily bordering on something better. Vinyl pressing - not styrene. "Back slop" is more of a 60's dance tune in the rock/garage instro vein and might be something that crowd would like, but it still has a Jamaican feel to it. The other side is close to comedy in my opinion. La la la la everybody do the ska. Novelty tune.
I don't usually sell ska but have managed to get a hold of a nice lot of rare UK 45's, that I will now start listing - most of them in stunning condition, so keep yer eyes open (they come from 2 guys who used to work in the music industry). I grade under a very strong halogenic light and the grade it is given is visual - please listen to them, as ska 45's in my opinion sometimes play worse than visual. Most of these only have a bit of storage dust and some have faint storage blemishes. I would say the majority of the sometimes light sound distortion, or "dirt-pops" come from 1. the dust 2. the pressing. If there are any marks or scratches, I will highlight these and try to describe them. For those who are very fussy about the condition I think many of these 45's will be your chance for the ultimate upgrade.
There will be quite a lot a rare Blue Beat label 45's in immaculate condition (the majority looks unplayed) coming up for sale incl. "Seven Wonders", "Rocksteady", "Quit place", "Simpleton" etc. If you're looking for anything special you are welcome to contact me.
