Description

B-52's   "Cosmic Thing"   LP     Reprise 1-25854

RARE first US MASTERDISK pressing (1989), features smash hits "Love Shack" and "Roam".  Produced by Nile Rodgers and Don Was.

Includes original custom inner sleeve (with photo, lyrics and credits), in NM condition.

Matrix numbers etched in the dead wax read:

Side 1 :    1-25854-A-SR5    1-1    MASTERDISK

Side 2 :    1-25854-B-SR2    1-1    MASTERDISK

Outstanding sound quality on this well recorded album.  NM wax plays "like new".  A few very light superficial paper scuffs / hairlines visible under bright light but have no discernible impact on sound quality.  Super high gloss remains.  Labels are clean and bright, look "like new".

Gatefold jacket is NM, flawed only by traces of ring/rub wear and corner dents.  Front and back color photos and text are clear and bright.  Nice high gloss remains.  Seams and spine are solid, with only traces of rub wear.  No splits.  Spine print is crystal clear.

My Profile / Policies:

Note:  I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.

All are play graded (not just visually graded), using Goldmine Record Album guidelines.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.

International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.

Payment expected within 3 business days of auction closing.
