Description
Up for sale is an autographed copy of the American release of the soundtrack on LP of THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, signed by Lux Interior (RIP), Fur Dixon and Poison Ivy of The Cramps. Poison Ivy inscribed it to me it, "To John, Banzai, Poison Ivy." It is also signed by scream queen Linnea Quigley (who played the character Trash in the movie) and signed "Ghoulishly yours," by writer John Russo who co-wrote the film in addition to having co-written Night of the Living Dead. I have been collecting all the different domestic and international releases of the soundtrack of this film since the 1980s and had this American version signed in person by Lux Interior and Poison Ivy in the late '80s or early '90s. Fur Dixon, who played bass with The Cramps on the "Date With Elvis Tour" doesn't play on The Cramps track on the soundtrack but she promoted the film with the band, going to the premier showing in London in 1986 and I asked her to sign it in October 2014 in Providence, Rhode Island. Linnea Quigley and John Russo signed it at a horror convention called "Rock and Shock" in Worcester, Massachusetts on October 19, 2014. The sleeve has noticeable wear including ringwear, creases, indentations, and other normal shelfwear. The original insert is included. The vinyl is in good condition.
The LP sleeve is in reasonably good condition with some noticeable wear, clearly visible in the photos. The only other copies of the Return of the Living Dead soundtrack signed by this exact combination of people are owned by myself. I have also posted my copy of the French and UK editions of the soundtrack, same by the same people, up on eBay in other listings. I may be putting some of my other copies up for sale in the future.
I will ship this to within the USA only.
