Train-Record Shopping-Drinks-George Michael Concert-Sat Next To Famous Singer-Got An Autograph-Enjoy gig!!!
That's what happened on the day of a George Michael concert for me!!
Went to do some shuffling through Notting Hill & Earls Court record shops in London as I was there for George's gig later that night in '88 and bought some stuff for my ever-growing collection and then went to enjoy his fantastic concert with the goodies I bought earlier!
Sitting next to me was none other than Stuart Adamson of The Skids/Big Country/The Raphaels and he agreed to sign my record!! SO pleased! He was so very nice too. Sadly, he passed away in December '01.
The autograph is in black marker on the reverse side of George Michael's "Monkey" 7" vinyl.
It's also the US release and has NOT been played by me. No centre for the record but both record and sleeve are in great condition PLUS it has an awesome signature!
