Description

This is the rare original 10" release Authentic Jamaican Calypsos Series 4, released on Matta's Recording Studio in 1956.

The record is in VERY GOOD++ condition. The grooves are slightly dirty, but with a careful cleaning, this record will be in near-perfect shape.

The jacket is in VERY GOOD++ condition. The open edge is flared slightly wider open than normal. Other than this, the jacket is near-perfect.

These are authentic calypsos, recorded in Jamaica and pressed in England. These were the original island records, before Island Records. They played an integral role in bringing Caribbean music to Europe. (I have a set of 4 of these records, volumes 2 through 5. If you want more than one, message me and we can set up a package deal.)
