Augustus Pablo – ‘Twelve Tribe Blues’ / Shorty The President with Pablo ‘Natty Is The Winner’ – Bomb Shell (JA)

Absolutely fantastic cuts to The Cimarons’ version of Bob Marley’s ‘Talking Blues’, featuring on one side DJ Shorty the President, and on the other, Pablo gently blowing away atop a superb King Tubby Mix. An original copy – not that I think this has ever been repressed – with the matrix numbers “Ital A” and “Ital B”. Utterly essential, very rare in any condition.

Condition: Visually VG to VG+, lots of shine but some marks and scuffs. Listening to it, the disc offers a couple of clicks (one fairly loud) but it’s really nothing too serious (please listen to the clips). Labels have some marks and writing (please see scans).
