That Ray Brown is one of jazz’s premier bassists should not have to be commented upon at length.

Feeling is, of course, paramount, and with Mickey Roker deftly drumming up a quiet storm with his drum sticks or carefully sweeping the beat clean with his brushes, the trio provides us with a new look at such standards as Lady Be Good and Elvis Presley’s Love Me Tender, both of which get through steeping in the blues. Jobim’s lilting Meditation is a buoyant exercise in levitation as the trio conspires to float us down to Rio.

 Harris’s debt to erroll garner emerges on Tyree Glenn’s How Could You Do A Thing Like This To ME?, and since no Ray Brown performance would be complete without a blues, his own Captain Bill rounds out things nicely.

Return Policy:

Please email me immediately to see how we can resolve the issue. If we cannot fix the problem, refunds will be made after the Item is returned and must be the same item in the same condition as sent. Returns must be received within 14 days after buyer receipt the record. The refund will be in the same payment form as received. Shipping and handling is not refundable.

Visually Grading as follow :

M : A near perfect, probably unplayed record.

NM : Record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Only well cared records will grade NM. It will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.

NM- : Very clean, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve, very light surface marks and slight signs of wear, which will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover also has only slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition.

VG++ : Record surface may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches/hairlines that do not affect the overall listening experience.

VG+ : A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG : Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
