Description

Original UK Dawn label stereo press LP.
The fifth lp by Atomic Rooster released in September 1973 and the second with Chris Farlowe on vocals, giving this LP a heavy soul/funk feel on many tracks, but after nearly two years without any hits, Dawn Records dropped the group and Atomic Rooster began to split up. After a tour to promote the album, Farlowe, Mandala and Parnell left and the first phase of Atomic Rooster was over by Feburary 1975. This is the first issue with the earliest A-2G B-1G matrices and 1-A 1-F stampers!   The fully laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light edge/corner wear & some light laminate rubbing on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact and in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with a few faint hairlines and a couple of very small needle marks/scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves and briefly in a couple of the quieter passages, overall a really great, loud and clear listen!   The matrix nos. are; DNLS-3049, A-2G stamper 1-A, B-1G stamper 1-F. This is one of the earliest copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1973 UK stereo issue of this album.     All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!!    All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,

Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
