Description
From my own personal collection, I've recently retrieved from dry storage after many years, is this excellent example of Atomic Rooster's Death Walks Behind You. I'm an ageing baby boomer who bought most of my records when they first came out in the 60's, 70's and 80's. I've just played this album and recorded it to eplayer so you can hear it for yourself as I think record descriptions alone can be too subjective.
I've been to a few record fairs lately and I have ascertained that this record is quite rare in this condition. It has a couple of tiny marks barely visible to the naked eye in direct sunlight, and I've included some close up photos showing these. The first mark causes a couple of light clicks in the dead wax before the track entitled 'Nobody Else', and the second light mark (about 1cm long, also across track 'Nobody Else') is not really audible at all. Anyway, don't just take my word for it, why not hear it for yourself, and you decide? I think this album would be described as EX or even Near Mint condition at a record fair, but I'm no expert. Note: The recording was done with Side 2 playing first, and then Side 1 - My mistake!!
The sleeve is in great overall condition with just a couple of light creases and corner bumps. There is also some 'ring wear' and edge wear starting to appear. The original inner sleeve is yellowing with age, and has a 3" seam split along one edge.
