Description
Up for sale is my personal collection of Rhymesayers, Atmosphere, ANT, Slug, Eyedea, Beyond, Dyno Spectrum, Headshots, Abstract Pack, any many others from the St. Paul / Minneapolis area from the 1995-1998 era! 24 tapes in all!
Here's the awesome part. These are all 1st generation copies, meaning they are not dubs! I befriended ANT (Anthony Davis) in 1996, so there are volumes 1-9 that are directly from ANT's DAT to these high quality Maxell XL II (the best) cassette tapes.
What are you going to find on these tapes? First of all, most of them are 90 minutes with no wasted space! You will find many, many 1-2 minute unreleased/instrumental beats by ANT, however these are just filler! Most of the tapes are unreleased/demo versions with vocals from the MCs he was working with during those years. You might hear a few "unknown" MCs as well as Slug, Beyond, Unicus, Mesh, New MC, Misha, Quincy (RIP), Sess (RIP), Knowledge MC, Rastar, Glorious, R to the D, Dyno Spectrum, Gene Poole etc etc etc etc.
Oh, and there's a mixtape done by ANT! This is a breakdance mixtape that will blow your mind.
In addition, Slug made several tapes for me as well. These are all handmade/handwritten, so you will own a piece of history. Some of the tapes you probably have known about, but some you absolutely do no have. Again, these were made for me by Slug himself. You will hear songs from other producers besides ANT. Some of these song are VERY RARE and may even only exist on these tapes!
Lastly, I'm throwing in a few bonus tapes. These have beats by ANT as well. They are very early Unicus (Kanser) and Beyond when they were in a group called Labyrinth. These songs go back to 1993! Also there are freestyles and live shows that I taped with a recorder. These are literally the only copies of these sessions.
ANNNND! You probably know the famous cuban rapper Celph Titled? Well waaaaaay back in the day he was called Loklass (low class). This is a tape he sent to me personally in 1994/1995! It is quite a difference from what you hear today. You might even be able to use it as blackmail lol!
The tapes are in great condition and should not have any warbles or other weird stuff.
Again, you are owning a piece of history here! And with the revival of cassette tapes, you can have these right on time!
