Description
After Maria de Buenos Aires Piazzolla recorded one of his most famous albums, which included the most popular version of "Adios Nonino", and which, because it belonged to a small label, was never discontinued. It was recorded in two sections in March and June 1969 and was published by the Trova label, the same one that María de Buenos Aires published, and which released Puslaciones with the music composed for the film by the visual artist Carlos Páiz Vilaró. In the lyrical theme of "Adios Nonino" the 3+3+2 meter appears for the first time, emphasized by the same chord and used with an epic character. The album Adios Nonino instrumentally vindicates the gesture of revision by María de Buenos Aires converted into a piece for listening only, without recollections of the three-minute tangos structured with repeated couplets and chorus. The new version of "Adiós Nonino" It lasted more than eight minutes, something unusual for the recording industry of the time, and more particularly for Argentine popular music.
