Description

About This Record.  This is the coveted and rarely seen original mono UK pressing of Art's Supernatural Fairytales in M-/M- condition on the scarcely seen Island pink eye label (Island ILP 967.  The matrix numbers are machine etched into the dead vinyl and read ILP-967-A and ILP-967-B.  I doubt there is a better copy on the planet.  Please do NOT buy it.  Thanks.

 

Cover Condition.  The cover is a nice M- with no defects; seams and spine are in tact and close to perfect. 

 

Vinyl Condition.  I do NOT use EX.  The vinyl is M-.  The vinyl weighs 172 grams, about 9 grams more than my original mono JethrolTull pink eye mono!  You will never see a nicer copy!  The only defect with this record is that there is a slight stain on one side of the label from taking off a price sticker when I bought it.  It was a really really really nasty price sticker.  I didn't know back then how rare this album would become, but I always take precautions as best I can just like it was . . . .

 

Grading Vinyl.  I use modified Goldmine grading standards.  Mint/NM/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G.  On rare occasions I may use VG++.  I DO NOT use the EX grade!  My VG+ is EX to EX+, and my VG is EX-.  I grade conservatively; look at my feedback!   I play grade my vinyl with an MC Ruby 3 Micro Benz cartridge.  I do not alter the records, covers, or labels with pens, tape, glue or other stuff.  When I notice such damage, I point it out in detail!
