Art evolved out of the VIPs and they became Spooky Tooth after the addition of Gary Wright. This album captures them on the crest of a wave - they have moved on from basic beat and blues to embrace psychedelia. The album is a great mix of out and out psych weirdness ( "I think I am going weird" ), to bluesy rock ( "Come on Up" ) and the absolute psych classic "Supernatural Fairy Tales" with its phasing and driving guitars and beat. I can't think of too many UK albums from this time that equal this release for quality and listenability. It has good production too so the songs have retained their power. Highly recommended.

Sleeve Condition: GOOD.

The laminted sleeve is in good shape front & back, no ring wear with only light corner rubs, it has a small bit of damage to the bottom right hand corner, the back cover has some damage as well on the bottom left due to what looks like damp, also has a scuff near the centre of the front cover, all as per photos.

Vinyl Condition, Visual: VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT.

A lovely shiny copy with some surface marks that generally don't affect play.

Vinyl Condition, Audible: EXCELLENT.

Plays a lot better than it looks with only the lightest surface noise in between some tracks.

Label Condition: EXCELLENT-MINT.

Has no sign of spindle marks, no ring wear, generally very clean.

UK Record Collector Grading System:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (US version of this term: Near Mint): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (US version of this term: VG++): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (US version of this term: VG): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits etc.
