Art Pepper - "Smack Up" and "Living Legend"
Due to the current situation there may well be interruptions to postal/ courier deliveries & services. However, parcels are still getting through. We must all be patient and courteous in these difficult times. We will get through this.
Here are two Art Pepper "Contemporary" LP's. They replicate the original 1960's & 1970's LP releases. This is a great way to acquire these LP's at a reasonable price. I have listed & graded them individually below:
1. Smack Up (Contemporary COP 031 LP 1961)
This is a mid 1980's UK pressing. Manufactured in the EEC. It has a matt sleeve & comes with its original polythene-lined company plain paper inner sleeve.
Sleeve: It has its original 1980's UK record shop "Our Price" price sticker on the front. There is some light or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light or very mild rubbing wear to the top edge on a couple of areas. VG++ condition
Vinyl: There are some light or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. Very NEAR EX condition. The labels are in Near Mint condition and show next to no spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Near EX condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear. Plays Excellent to Excellent+ overall. A great audio copy!
2. Living Legend (Contemporary/ Original Jazz Classics OJC 408 LP 1976)
1990 "Original Jazz Classics" LP pressing. Manufactured in the USA. It still comes with its original shrinkwrap which has its "Original Jazz Classics" sticker on the front. This is on the shrinkwrap - not on the sleeve. The sleeve is printed on matt card. It comes with its original polythene company inner sleeve. It has its original information postcard too.
Sleeve: It has its original 1980's UK record shop price sticker on the front. This is on the shrinkwrap - not on the sleeve. The shrinkwrap has been opened at the sleeve opening. Otherwise, extremely minimal wear only. EX+ condition
Vinyl: Looks to be virtually unplayed! Next to no sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. Very NEAR MINT condition. The labels are in Mint condition and show no spindle wear. The company polythene inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. Plays Excellent+ to Very Near Mint overall. A great audio copy.
