Description
Art Pepper’s First Sessions as Leader, this Mega Rare 10” Lp released in 1952 on Discovery Records is a real Jazz Gem and Historical one at that. Condition is as follows: Cover is intact, top and bottom seams are split, storage rub/ring-wear after 65 years. Record: labels are clean and free of marks and fingerprints. Vinyl shows some light marks, there are a couple of marks that you can feel with your fingertip and on playback there are a few clicks and light background noise
between tracks and quieter passages. Playback: I would rate as very enjoyable and the records played through with no issues using a Pioneer PL-510A with Diamond Stylus Turntable. Everyone has their own grading system I would rate this as VG+ all around, and just the fact it survived 65 years and from a small independent label, how many were pressed, and how many exist today?
