Description
- Near mint 1950s Andex deep groove monaural original Latin jazz LP “Mucho Calor” (Andex A 3002).
- This is the original release, not a reissue.
- It features an all-star lineup of jazz musicians: Art Pepper (alto sax), Bill Perkins (tenor sax), Conte Candoli (trumpet), Russ Freeman (piano), Ben Tucker (bass) Chuck Flores (drums), Jack Costanza and Mike Pacheco (bongos and congo).
- The tracklist is: Mucho Calor/Autumn Leaves/Mambo De La Pinta/I’ll Remember April/Vaya Hombre Vaya/I Love You/Mambo Jumbo/Old Devil Moon/Pernod/That Old Black Magic.
- The glossy LP looks and plays near mint with crisp, clear fidelity. There are just a couple of very light superficial marks that play through with no notice. There is some very light surface noise at the lead in dead wax but, otherwise, the LP plays near mint. I’m only able to see one spindle mark on the labels. The cover is also in great condition. The glossy front slick is very close to mint. The back slick has some light discoloration near the cover opening that does not interfere with the graphics or liner notes. The spine and bottom are in near mint condition. A portion of the top seam has been expertly repaired/protected with acid-free archival tape.
- NO reserve and a very reasonable $24.99 minimum bid.
- I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage (check out my other items!).
- In the US the winning bidder pays choice of media mail ($4.00) or priority shipping (based on ZIP code). Airmail shipping and handling to Canada is $8.00. All other locations outside the US are $15.00. Good luck!
