Description
This is Score Records SLP 4030, Art Pepper Quartet Modern Art, a mono, red, deep groove label 1958 2ndedition of this rare recording. The record is in VG condition showing marks on both sides but sounding fine except for the first half of the 2nd side where there is light background crackle. There are no skips or distortion of the music and the background noise is below the music. The cover has had the top seam repaired and shows light shelf wear but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels show light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is a very nice initial "play" grade copy of this wonderful record. This is part of my personal collection that I will be selling (slowly) over the next few months and years. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins.
