Description

This is the deep groove RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Art Blakey “And the Jazz Messengers” (a/k/a “Moanin”) on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4003.    The playing surface is in excellent condition; normal inaudible storage splotching on Side 1; inaudible hairline on Side 2.  The laminated West 63rd cover is in near-new condition, with sharp corners and unworn seams; light discoloration at the lower left corner of the back slick.  Personnel include Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Bobby Timmons, and Jymie Merritt.  $100.00.
