Mega Rare LP of Art Blakey - The Jazz Messengers (Columbia CL-897 - mono) Original 6-eye labels with deep groove rings on both sides - NOT a current re-issue! The great Art Blakey along with Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, Donald Byrd and Doug Watkins in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with some marks that will make some noise and with much if not most of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still, you will hear some noise on this one. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear and a bit of clear tape on the bottom seam, but NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Not perfect, but a solid copy of a rare classic.
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling LPs around the world).
