Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers   "Mosaic", BLP 4090  Mono Blue Note lp   Featuring: 

  • NOTE:  This LP is a "REVIEW COPY" with the name "Ed Love", and "WJLB AM" as well as "WCHD FM (crossed through)" on the back cover.  Ed Love is a Detroit jazz radio legend who has led jazz shows on the air for 60 years. His current program, "Destination Jazz" has been heard on WDET - Detroit Public Radio, since 1983. Ed is a beloved figure known for introducing new jazz musicians to jazz lovers, as well as introducing jazz to new listeners. We hope the buyer will enjoy Ed's DJ notes on the track list.   
COVER:  VG-  Shelf wear.  Paper loss on corners.  Solid, no splits.    43 West 61st St., New York 23 address.   Ink on back cover (see note above.).    RECORD:   VG / VG-   Hairlines, light marks, sleeve marks.  Strong fidelity and volume.  Plays excellent with minor background crackle, tic in quiet areas, between tracks.   1961 Original.     Promo "REVIEW COPY" stamp on S1.   RVG & Plastylite "P" (ear) in dead wax.  New York USA address.

Sealed         Sealed in shrink wrap. Record condition is unknown and sold 'as-is'. 

NM               Appears unplayed. No marks, scratches or imperfections. We rarely use this. 

VG++           May have low number (1-2) of minor imperfections that don't affect play. Examples: sleeve scuffs or superficial mark/scratch.

VG+             Has a few visible imperfections. Examples:  sleeve scuffs, light scratches or other smudge / marks. 

VG                More imperfections than a VG+, but nothing that will overpower music when played. 

VG-              Several visible imperfections and/or feelable marks. Expect audible surface noise to be present. 

G                  Multiple imperfections, may affect play.
