Description: Nice vintage stereo pressing on Blue Note from 1966. Fabulous and essential hard bop album.  Early "Division of Liberty Records" pressing with RVG STEREO in deadwax, but no ear.  The 1966 pressings were the first to change the cover title to "Moanin".  This had previously been a self-titled album.  The stereo version of this pressing is tough to find in the US.


Sleeve Condition: VG++, great color.  Still mostly in original shrink wrap, slit at open end.  Sleeve has no seam splits/tears/bends, etc.  Does have just the slightest bit of ruffling at the open corners.  Very slight and overall this thing displays great.  Looks right off the shelf.  Comes with original inner sleeve which has been stored outside the sleeve and has some light discoloration spots, but no splits or tears..


Vinyl: Again, VG++, labels are very nice and clean.  No writing or tears - does have a name stamp, but that's the only thing that takes it out of EX range.  No scuffs or scratches.  I have play tested this and it plays great.  Amazing sound and very enjoyable listen.  Can't have been played more than a couple of times.
