Description
I'm going to start selling some of my record album collection. This one was at the top of the pile so I'll start here. Bear in mind, presently I have no turntable in which to test any of my albums for sound quality; however, please read the description below.
The album itself was purchased new many years ago, probably around 1968 to 1971, and has not been on a turntable since. It was most likely played less than 5 times. The cover itself is in rough shape due to exposure to humidity and improper storage thereafter; however, the vinyl itself appears to be flawless and flat as a pancake with no signs of warping whatsoever. Again, the vinyl is perfect and has not been outside of the cover or inside jacket (except for the photos) in literally 45 years. It was probably played less than 5 times prior to that. The paper label on the vinyl has a smudge.
Because of the condition of the cover I'm selling at no reserve beyond the opening bid of $10.00. This indicates a significant discount from what I see others examples of this rare album listed. A bit of research I did indicates the album has recently sold in the $40-$45 range.
Trust me, the album cover is not something you'd want to display. On the other hand, if your goal is to acquire a fine example of the vinyl then I believe you're in luck.
Also, as I've disclosed in detail the shortcomings of the offering due to the condition of the cover and my inability to test for sound quality, I cannot offer any refunds of any kind, for any reason. That said, in my humble opinion, how far wrong can you go in spending $10-$20 on a rare album like this that in all likelihood has sound quality equivalent to a new record.
