Description

Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers “The Big Beat” 1977 reissue from Blue Note/Liberty Records (# BST 84029 stereo) in a cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+). The album is clean on both sides and plays well with no scratches nor skips - close to EX. The following is on the runout groove:


  • Side A): (etched) BNST 84029.A. (stamped) RVG STEREO

  • Side B): (etched) BNST-84029.B. (stamped) RVG STEREO


The outer case is also Very Good Plus (VG+). The front cover is clean & smooth; the back cover has some light stains and handwriting at the top. The top seam has ~3” split at the spine; and a tiny <1” at the opening. The spine & bottom seam are VG+ with no splits. The original inner sleeve is included. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.

NOTE:  This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
