ARKTIS – Tapes

While the first album by Arktis, originally released in 1974, predominantly contained clearly structured studio songs, the second album from 1975 comprised mainly improvisations without firm aims or limitations in structure. This difference is already indicated by the album's title 'Arktis tapes'. Although in perfect condition after 19 years, the master tapes were additionally remastered

Während die erste Arktis-LP von 1974, vorwiegend festgefügte Stücke enthielt, bestand die zweite von 1975, wie schon der Name 'Arktis tapes' andeutet, großenteils aus freien Versuchen ohne deutliche Zielsetzung und äußere Einschränkungen und unterscheidet sich dadurch von der ersten. Das hier vorgestellte Stück bildet durch seinen festen Aufbau eher eine Ausnahme Karin Töppig (voc), Klaus Blachut (g), Klaus Göllner (b), Harry Kottek (dr)
