Description
Here is a copy of the 45 rpm, super rare Garage/Surf Instro. by WOOLSEY'S RAIDERS titled "War Dance b/w Devil's Dungeon" on the Lewis label #10120, from Mesa, AZ. Condition is VG++, with a mirror gloss! Plays great! Labels are clean, no writing, marks or tears. Recorded at Audio Recorders in Phoenix in 1963. The leader of the band, Tim Woolsey, was killed in an automobile accident some time after making the record. In 40 years of collecting this is only the second copy I have ever seen for sale. Rarer even than the Spiders and the Nazz records. ONLY 300 WERE PRESSED. Pressed by Sydney J. Wakefield so you know it's a great pressing. Not very many surf Instros. from The Valley Of The Sun and this is one of the best. This would make a fantastic addition to any Surf/Garage collection! No reserve!
