THE ARANBEE POP SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA - 'TODAY'S POP SYMPHONY'
This scarce, low-selling album was put together by Andrew Loog Oldham to generate publicity for his new 'Immediate' label in 1966. Subtitled 'a new conception of today's hits in classical style', it contains arrangements of hits by The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and others 'under the direction of Keith Richard'
This UK 1st pressing MONO disc was pressed by Philips Records and is on the textured Immediate label: IMLP 003

The disc is housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback cover SIGNED by Keith Richard on the rear panel in blue ball-point pen

Both are clean & undamaged with a little discolouration to the centre holes but no writing or missing paper.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean and retain a good deal of their factory shine. There are a few light fingernail scuffs visible in strong daylight, but nothing I would call a scratch. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a some harmless wispy hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD
This copy has been played many times and some light background is audible throughout. However, it is still very listenable and is free from any clicks, pops, jumps, repeats of any other major audible distractions.
Cover: VERY GOOD -
General handling & storagewear throughout, but the signature on the rear is genuine and undamaged.
