This is a very good copy of one of the very first LPs to be released on Andrew Loog Oldham’s ultra cool and highly collectible 1960’s Immediate label. Please see the detailed description below.

This is an orchestral record (‘R an B’ orchestra – geddit ??), produced and directed by Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, featuring versions of songs by The Rolling Stones and The Beatles amongst others.

It also features a great photo of Keith on the rear sleeve. When this LP was released in 1966 it sold virtually no copies and therefore is almost impossible to track down nowadays. It’s much harder again to find one in this condition !

The Immediate labels are in EXCELLENT condition with just a few ‘spidery’ spindle marks suggesting that this rare LP has only been played a few times during the last 40+ years.

Vinyl : Visual Grading 

Under harsh light this record has a lot of very light surface marks but no deep scratches and retains a high surface shine.

Vinyl  : Audio  Description

It plays very well in general with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!!  Like pretty much ALL records of this age it has some crackle in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections like the run-in grooves and between some tracks etc, but it truly doesn't overshadow the music at all. A few of the tracks feature a degree of distortion but not enough to spoil the listening experience. I'd even argue it gives it added soul and character !!! The vast majority of the music is clear and sounds very very sharp with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from a 1st Press 60’s UK THICK HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL!!!  Absolutely ESSENTIAL for all lovers of Keith Richards, The Rolling Stones, Andrew Loog Oldham, the Immediate Record label and 60’s music in general !! Must grade overall audiably as Very Good+ !!!

Sleeve : 

Original sleeve with tri-flipback flaps . It is IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition.  This one has a few  signs of ageing such as a number of minor creases, signs of a record imprint (impossible to avoid over 40+ years) and a tiny touch of denting to the corners and spine which nearly all vintage LP's have. The spine has a minor 1cm area of ‘flaking’.

The main flaw with this sleeve is that ironically because it has been stored in a protective plastic cover the chemical reaction over decades has lifted the laminate off leaving a number of vaguely unsightly glue marks. Either that or someone has attempted to laminate it and failed.

I have tried to describe this sleeve as fully and as honestly as possible as it is a high value item. This cover has its flaws but it has NO tears, NO tape and NO writing  and is still strong and solid after all these years!!!

A good sleeve, and a true rarity to find one even in this type of condition - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains firm and solid. Must grade overall as Very Good- !!!

A very good example of this MEGA RARE LP!!! ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to find in ANY condition. YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this rare opportunity to own a true piece of 60's music history!!!
