Description

This is part of a big auction of 45's from several small 1950's label that I'm running this week. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for an all-rockabilly auction starting 9/25 and an all Los Angeles label auction (Modern/RPM/Imperial, etc.) in October

Release: The 5 Royales with Charlie (Little Jazz) Ferguson & His Orchestra - Help Me Somebody / Crazy Crazy Crazy

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1953


Notes: Third single released by one of the more prolific Apollo acts.  This was a NC based group and their music is certainly doo-wop, but with a bit of a blues/soul edge to it.  Really nice backing by Ferguson as well.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just a couple super-fine scuffs on Help side. Barely any wear at all. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are very nice with original gloss and no writing/tears, just the slightest bit of ring scuffing.  See pics, but this is a nice copy overall.
