Description

Aphrodite's Child - 666 - The Apocalypse of John -1st press

 

This is the holy grail for a lot of collectors, the first press with the sleeve catologue number 6673 001 and the

vinyl has the vertigo swirl labels with the 6333500/6333501 numbers on the labels.

 

The cover is Ex  with a Lovely straight spine and a high gloss red laminate, the only downside is the remnants of glue from a sticker on the front top right hand corner ( about 28mm x 8mm).

There is slight ring indentation on the front cover and a small crease like mark on the back below the price code.

(about 60mm). There is also a slight dent on the top of the spine (about 4mm - see pic)

Inside the gatefold the picture is perfect with only a slight ringwear visible on the black right hand  side.

 

The swirl labels are perfect with no spindle marks , the other side on both discs has the remnants of glue from a sticker (about 28mmx8mm) but the labels have no spindle marks.

 

The vinyl looks bright and clean with a few lines where it has been put in the covers it looks EX but i am having it checked this week and will update  when i have heard it all the way through. (i do not have a decent turntable to check this on at the moment)

Update - The vinyl is in EX condition with no jumps or scrathes and only a slight surface noise on the run ins.

Ive added extra photos showing the labels and the lovely shine on the cover and vinyls.
